Growing up, I watched the elders in my family β grandparents, aunts, uncles β quietly battling chronic pain, illness, and the slow toll that age and stress take on the body. I was young, but the helplessness I felt was real. I wanted to find a way to ease their suffering, to give them something that medicine alone couldn't offer. That search led me to yoga.
I saw firsthand how breathwork eased my grandfather's anxiety, how gentle movement gave my aunt relief from years of joint pain, and how stillness brought peace to people who had forgotten what peace felt like. I trained, I studied, I practiced β and I built Namofitness with one belief at its heart: that health is the greatest gift we can give the people we love. Every class is an extension of that belief.
To me, yoga was never just about the poses. It is about learning to listen β to your breath, your body, the rhythms of the world around you. It is about finding a stillness within the noise, a quiet sense of who you truly are beneath the roles you play. When we move with intention and live in harmony with the natural world, something shifts. A clarity emerges. A sense of purpose you cannot quite name, but can feel β as though you are, slowly and surely, moving in the right direction. That is what I want every student to discover.
